The method briefly explained

The “wet vacuuming” method refers to the use of wet vacuums to remove liquids and wet dirt from floors and other surfaces. These specialized vacuums are designed to pick up water and other liquids, making them ideal for cleaning spills, wet carpets and other damp areas. Wet vacuums are able to efficiently remove both coarse dirt and moisture, quickly leaving the affected areas dry and clean again. This method is often used for basic and intermediate cleaning.

Preparation

  • Select the appropriate products according to the area to be cleaned (type / square meter) and the degree of soiling.
  • Cordon off the area or put up warning signs.
  • Check, equip and prepare the machine and accessories in accordance with the operating instructions.
  • As a rule: Wet scrub or wet mop the floor covering beforehand.

Main work

  • Wet vacuum the floor covering with the wet vacuum cleaner in slightly overlapping strips. Work from the door into the room. Note: Always stand in the dry area.
  • When the tank of the wet vacuum cleaner is full, empty the dirt into the drain.
  • Carry out the inspection.

Final work

  • Remove the warning sign as soon as the floor covering is dry.
  • Remove the covering material.
  • Empty the water tank, rinse if necessary and leave it open to dry.
  • Check the cable for damage, clean it and roll it up loosely towards the plug.
  • Dispose of the waste.
  • Clean the cleaning material and replace if necessary.

Remark

  • Wear the protective equipment (PPE) required in accordance with the company regulations, safety data sheet or operating instructions.
  • Always check in advance which product meets your requirements (see Wetrok cleaning and care instructions).
  • Wetrok AG accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or incorrect product selection.
