What is ozonized water and how is it produced?

Active oxygen refers to the use of ozonized water for sanitation and cleaning. An ozone generator produces O₃ by electrolysis, which is bound in the water and thus becomes ready-to-use ozonized water. Once enriched with ozone, the water effectively attacks bacteria, yeasts, moulds, viruses and dirt, which are broken down into fine particles.

As soon as the cleaning and sanitizing process is complete, the ozonated water returns to water and oxygen. Its disposal poses no danger or environmental risk.
