Spontaneous cleaning work with dry ice blasting machines in machine or vehicle maintenance, for cleaning in the production process or for vehicle preparation was hardly conceivable until now, as the dry ice logistics required in the background are too complex for short-term use. With the IB 10/8 L2P, the world’s first dry ice blasting machine with integrated dry ice production from liquid CO₂, this is now possible without any problems. Thanks to an innovative process, dry ice pellets are immediately produced from liquid CO₂ as required – L2P stands for “Liquid-to-Pellet”. As liquid CO₂ has a practically unlimited shelf life in gas cylinders, there is no need for the usual time-consuming dry ice logistics. In addition, the device’s very low compressed air consumption also significantly reduces infrastructure costs. At the same time, the advantages of Kärcher dry ice technology remain fully intact. The IB 10/8 L2P cleans particularly gently – even with complex contours such as grooves, bearings or slots and with heavy soiling such as baked-on incrustations. This reliably prevents abrasive residues.
