Colorcoat UV on an aqueous basis provides organically coated aluminum elements with long-lasting protection. The applied layer reduces dirt adhesion and prevents the paint surface from being destroyed by aggressive air pollutants. Contains modern UV stabilizers and prevents photochemical degradation processes of the base material (wet or powder coatings, etc.) Area of application The water-based sealer for organically coated metal facades is used to provide organically coated metal elements with long-lasting protection. The applied layer reduces dirt adhesion and prevents the destruction of surfaces by aggressive air pollutants. Suitable for organically coated façade elements Application instructions Water the façade well and remove loose dirt. Clean the elements depending on the degree of soiling. The façade must be clean and absolutely dry before sealing. The surface temperature for sealing must be approx. 5-20° Celsius. Apply the undiluted product evenly with a paint sprayer. Drying time approx. 10 – 20 min. A second coat may be necessary. Surface protection: 10-20 years Consumption: approx. 25 – 40 g/m2 per application.
