Since 1924, the family business Tavernaro AG has been manufacturing and trading machines, equipment and products for professional floor cleaning. In addition, we offer services such as on-site consultation in all matters of building cleanliness and our own workshop with service and spare parts service. Tavernaro AG was founded in 1924 by Heinrich Tavernaro-Lüscher and developed from a small basement laboratory for cleaning agents into a leading company in cleaning technology. A decisive turning point was the acquisition of the Swiss general agency for Clarke in 1958, which led to the introduction of automated floor cleaning machines.

With the move to Neftenbach in 1964 and the transformation into a family-owned public limited company in 1975, the company underwent further strategic development. The third generation under Sandro Tavernaro modernised the company from 1980 and focused on digitalisation early on, including with one of the first online shops in the industry in 1999.

In 2022, Alessandro Tavernaro, the fourth generation, joined the company. In 2024, Tavernaro AG introduced AI-supported cleaning robots, underlining its innovative strength. Today, the company combines tradition with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable solutions.
