Heinrich Tavernaro-Lüscher’s spirit of research and imagination tempted the ambitious man to find the philosopher’s stone in the cleaning agent sector. Mrs. Tavernaro-Sangiorgio boldly described these accidental chemical preparations as a mixture of everything that cleans and everything that causes stains, and not without reason, because in addition to soap, substances such as coffee were also added to the mixtures. The concoctions were then given the effective name of stain soap.

A large order from the army marked the rising phase of the company. The production of chemical-technical cleaning agents had not yet reached a peak when, by an unprecedented coincidence, the company opened up a new line of business. Following an inconspicuous advertisement, the wording of which sounded something like this: Representation of self-propelled floor cleaning machines, the promising era of Clarke representation in Switzerland began in 1958. However, since a complete range of cleaning agents is essential in addition to cleaning machines, the company entered the market as a bulk purchaser.

Digitalization started early in the company. Already in 1999, a short time after the introduction of the Internet, the first online store in the industry was launched and since then has been constantly developed further without neglecting personal customer contact. In the meantime, it has received several awards.

In the course of time, the sales program has been supplemented by other important agencies and today offers a wide range of products from cleanroom scrubber-driers to hybrid sweepers and air cleaners to Green Care cleaning products.
